Vera Wang might be best known for her white dresses, but this week, she broke the internet in a white swimsuit. On Instagram, the 74-year-old designer posed poolside in a classic one-piece with a straight neckline that was bookended by silver sparkles. Glittering chandelier earrings adorned her ears, and on her feet, blinged-out metallic sandals just might be a style I now need.

Silver shoes are one of 2024’s hottest trends—Jane Fonda just wore a pair on the red carpet—and Wang officially brought them into summer. Her chunky sandals had a lug sole and strappy design, finished in a mirror-like silver color and topped with jewels. It was perhaps the chicest version of the classic summer style I’ve ever seen (aka an immediate add-to-cart). 

Wang inspired me to elevate all of my basic summer ‘fits with silver sandals, so I found six pairs you can grab today. But for anyone who saw her post and immediately needed the classic white swimsuit, don’t worry, I found lookalikes for that, too, and they start at just $22.

If you loved Wang’s bling, grab these $35 slingback sandals from Dream Pairs that feature a lookalike jewel-covered T-strap. Shoppers say that the color and adornments “dress up any outfit” and rave about the comfort. One fan called them the “most comfortable” sandals they’ve ever owned, while another wrote that they feel just as good as their tried-and-true flip-flops, despite looking more elevated.

This shopper-favorite one-piece swimsuit from La Blanca looks nearly identical to Wang’s, from the thin spaghetti straps and nearly straight neckline to the high-cut sides. While many customers bought this for the style’s classic, no-frills look, quite a few found that it’s also “flattering and supportive.” A shopper with a 32F chest wrote that the swimsuit “keeps everything in place,” while someone in their 50s said that it offers lift without digging into their shoulders and support without being restrictive.

Birkenstock makes my favorite version of the trending shoe because the brand simply added a reflective silver top to its iconic, celebrity-loved Arizona sandals. With these, you get this year’s ‘It’ color with that famous “dreamy and comfortable” cork footbed that shoppers say “molds to your feet” for customized support. One person who owns them in silver wrote that the sandal is “so versatile,” while another said the shade is “classy…and goes with anything.”
