In case you’re still on the fence about whether you can take your slip dresses, babydoll tops, and corset bras beyond the bedroom, allow Kiernan Shipka to be your deciding factor. The Mad Men alum just gave her big stamp of approval on the lingerie as outerwear trend while stepping out last night.
The 25-year-old-actress walked the red carpet at GQ's Men of the Year Party in a sultry ensemble that will go straight onto your night out fashion inspiration Pinterest boards. For the main event of Shipka's outfit, she wore a black strapless corset bra that featured delicate floral lace and sheer paneling throughout. She tucked the sexy staple into matching, high-waisted, straight-leg jeans. To keep everything monochromatic, she cinched her denim at the waist with a wide black leather belt, adorned with an ornate silver lion buckle, and added a pair of chunky black platform gogo boots. Shipka let her outfit do most of the talking, opting for a simple silver chain necklace and two silver rings. Later in the night, she slung a black chain purse over her shoulder and carried a denim button-up shirt on her arm.
As for beauty, the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina star styled her caramel-blonde locks in beachy waves with her full fringe spanning her forehead. Shipka glammed up with rosy makeup, complete with smoked-out winged eyeliner and a glossy berry-pink lip.
Shipka has been rocking an array of seductive looks lately, as she has been on the Red One press tour. Earlier this week, she stunned in another all-black ensemble. That time, she wore a creamy velvet, one-arm bodysuit that featured huge bows on her right shoulder and left hip. She wore the centerpiece over nothing but black fishnet tights. She adorned her hair updo with a black bow for another coquette touch and completed the ensemble with a pair of glossy platform stiletto heels.
Just days before that, the Sweethearts star looked festive in a buttery-white vest top and itty-bitty black hot pants, which she layered over fishnet stockings and paired with the same chunky heels.
