Long-stemmed roses were sewn inside the dress.
It’s that time of year again: And Just Like That… has started filming again, which means Carrie Bradshaw’s iconic—and sometimes controversial—fashion sense has returned to NYC’s streets. On Tuesday, Sex and the City and AJLT leading lady Sarah Jessica Parker was photographed on the set of season 3 of the Max show in a sheer balletcore ensemble that channeled one of Carrie’s most iconic wardrobe staples.
SJP was captured walking through the streets in a blush-colored sheer tulle Simone Rocha dress and matching duster that paid homage to Carrie’s iconic tutu skirt from the original series. The ankle-length frock had vertical seams along her midsection to create a mock corseted waist and large pockets on the skirt containing three pink roses in each. She layered the piece over an olive green bra and salmon undergarment and under a long see-through jacket, which had exaggerated puffy sleeves and pockets, also embedded with flowers, and a drawstring waist.

Parker's strappy stilettos—which only had straps along the toes and ankle—looked incredibly difficult to walk in, but as the pro she is, Parker strutted along the sidewalk with ease. She accessorized with rings, stud earrings, pink gloves, and a matching purse. Her signature long blonde hair was styled in voluminous waves and a middle part, and her glam included rosy cheeks and a pink lip that complemented the whimsical look.
Parker also gave some details from her day on set with an Instagram depicting the look. “Day 7 Exterior NYC Already shot first look. With crane. Changing over for next scene. @justlikethatmax X, SJ,” she captioned the post.
On day six of shooting, Parker was seen in Washington Square Park in a statement checkered hat created by German artist Maryam Keyhani, which slightly resembled Strawberry Shortcake’s beret.
The floppy fascinator was styled with a vintage color-blocked Ossie Clark maxidress sourced from Turner Vintage and a pair of slide-on Dr. Scholl’s.
