Embracing your grays has never looked so sexy.
It’s been a busy summer for Salma Hayek. One day she’s carrying the Olympic torch at the Summer Games in Paris, and the next, she’s on posting a thirst trap on a yacht in the middle of the ocean. And with all that action, there understandably hasn’t been much time for maintaining her usual beauty routine.
Case in point? On Sunday, the actress embraced her gray hair and couldn't have looked sexier while doing so. Showing off her salt-and-pepper strands in a new bikini photo shared to Instagram, Hayek wore a bright yellow two-piece that consists of an underwired top and matching bottoms with ruched tabs. She paired her itty-bitty bikini with a beaded necklace and tortoiseshell sunglasses, and styled her glossy brunette hair in braided pigtails with several silver streaks visible on the sides.
"Yellow bikini + White hair = perfect combination," Hayek captioned her sun-filled post, which showed her posing next to the Spanish flag.
This isn't the first time the Magic Mike star has opened up about her gray hair. Last year, Hayek shared her secret for disguising her silver strands with her fans on Instagram. "Here is a tip to cover your white hair without dyeing it,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself with her sunglasses pulled back on top of her head, before adding: “don’t wear your glasses 👓 on your hair!!! 😜😹." Proving her point to be true, the next slide showed Hayek gray-free and without glasses on.
Another genius idea? Putting mascara in your hair. “You don’t see the white hair right now because I put mascara [on],” Hayek previously told the hosts of Good Morning America in June 2023 when asked about her going gray. “Because I’m too lazy to dye my hair, so I go like this and then I go like this,” she continued while making a streaking motion to both her eyelashes and her hair.
