The Czech perfume house Renier Perfumes presents “Baracoa” and “Paloma”, two new unisex fragrances that draw their inspiration from paintings.

Inspired by the small town of Baracoa, formerly known as “Villa de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción de Baracoa”, the first town to be founded on the island of Cuba, “Baracoa” unfolds a tangy-sweet opening of jasmine, cherry, lime and delicate orange blossom. The top notes merge in the heart with the woody-floral depth of Cambodian oud, lush rose, precious rosewood and warm sandalwood. The base is carried by a warm, creamy composition of amber, oakmoss, musk, vanilla and the exotic aroma of Vietnamese oud, surrounded by a fresh sea breeze.

Paloma – Renier Perfumes
“Paloma” captures the freshness of the Mexican cocktail of the same name. The fragrance opens with a sparkling, fruity top note of neroli, green apple, bergamot, grapefruit and sunny lemon. The heart unfolds a warm blend of spicy rum and sandalwood, accompanied by sweet, fresh accents of cucumber and lily of the valley. The composition is rounded off with sensual, sweet-creamy base notes of musk, grape, vanilla, jasmine and a pinch of salt.
Created by Renier R. Mendez and Christian Carbonnel a.k.a. Chris Maurice, the fragrance is part of the “Especial Editions” collection.

Renier Perfumes was born from the passion of Cuban artist Renier R. Mendez, whose enthusiasm for perfumery was sparked by the scents of artificial materials and the natural aromas of Cuba. From a young age, he experimented with natural substances, which he mixed with alcohol or water. After training with master perfumer Daniel Josier in Europe, Renier eventually founded his own label. Each of his fragrances is inspired by a painting, combining his love of painting with his passion for the art of perfumery.
The new fragrances are available in 50 ml bottles.
