Lopez showed off her legs in hot pants and sky-high wedges as she arrived at Arthur & Sons for an al fresco Italian meal surrounded by friends and family.
The multi-hyphenate, whose actual birthday is on July 24, continued the early celebration at the Bridgehampton restaurant on Sunday. While her longtime manager Benny Medina, her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and sister Lynda were all in attendance, per photos obtained by Page Six, Lopez’s husband Ben Affleck appeared to be missing from the afternoon celebration. According to multiple sources, the actor was also spotted working from his Los Angeles office instead of attending Lopez’s Bridgerton party in the Hamptons the night before, according to People.
Despite ongoing rumors that Bennifer’s marriage “is not in the best place at the moment,” the birthday girl was glowing in a flirty two-piece set from Zimmermann at the Arthur & Sons luncheon. Lopez wore a cropped white blouse from the brand with floral embellishments on the puffed sleeves and around the plunging neckline. She paired the daytime piece with matching mini shorts that also featured the same floral design on her hips and showed off a glimpse of midriff. The singer’s toned legs were the main character of her ‘fit, thanks to her short hemline and a pair of sky-high pink Gucci platform wedges that also kept the floral motif going with rose and poppy designs on the side. A Dior floral raffia tote bag, oversized ‘70s sunglasses from Chloé, and a Van Cleef & Arpels gold and diamond bracelet gave her Sunday look an extra glam factor, per Page Six.
Lopez, who went with her trademark bronzed beauty look and wore her balayage locks up in a sleek ponytail, was all smiles at the lunch, although she reportedly got emotional while sharing stories about the past with her guests, according to Page Six. Her latest outing comes shortly after she spent her second wedding anniversary sans Affleck at the Italian restaurant with Medina and her son Max. Neither Affleck or Lopez acknowledged the relationship milestone on July 16.
According to an insider, the couple is reportedly battling “deeper issues” than differing views on fame. “The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he didn’t know what he was getting into with the attention on their marriage isn’t true,” a source recently told People.
