French perfume house Guerlain unveils “Patchouli Paris”, a new unisex fragrance that interprets patchouli in a sensual, woody version.
Patchouli Paris reveals a facet of the French capital that the house has never explored before: the magnetism of Parisian nights. Uninhibited, Patchouli puts on a show. A dazzling contrast between the immediate freshness, reminiscent of the banks of the Seine, and the heady warmth of a woody patchouli note, reminiscent of the exuberant Parisian party air and the wood paneling of the great theaters.

The opening of “Patchouli Paris” is characterized by fresh, slightly metallic aldehyde notes that embody the reddish glow and freshness of the Seine in the evening light. To capture the vibrant atmosphere of Parisian nights, the powdery elegance of iris unfolds in the heart. Its delicate, floral fragrance combines with the earthy, woody and spicy warmth of patchouli. The composition is rounded off with a sensual, warm base of amber, musk and creamy, sweet vanilla – an ode to passion and freedom in the night hours of the city of love.

Created by Delphine Jelk, the fragrance enriches the French label’s “L’Art & La Matière” range. In this collection, perfumes are presented as works of art created by the House’s experienced perfumers Guerlain. Other well-known fragrances in the range include “Épices Volées” (2010), “Iris Torréfié” (2020) and “Oud Nude” (2022).
