Taylor Swift is experimenting with Disney princess style. A Swiftie fan account shared a never-seen photo of the “Love Story” singer seemingly attending a family wedding in late September on X (formerly Twitter) – and she looked bejeweled in a shimmery fairy tale-worthy dress. In the viral group photo, Swift could be seen beaming in the floor-length gold lace gown, which appeared to be embossed with Folklore-inspired details.
“Taylor was at a wedding last weekend, she looks happy and sparkling,” the @ttpdhearts account wrote in a post shared on October 4. To further illustrate their point, they included what appears to be a screenshot of someone’s Instagram Story post with the caption “When Taylor Swift is at your cousin’s, neighbor’s, friend’s wedding, it’s like you’re there too.” In the photo, the “Cruel Summer” singer–who playfully stuck her tongue out while crouching down and giving bunny ears to a child–looked like a real-life princess in a sleeveless gold lace gown depicting a whimsical forest scene at the bottom. Swift leaned into her signature beauty look for the special occasion, wearing her blonde curls up in a romantic updo and adding a swipe of matte red lipstick.
While the “Fortnight” star hasn’t posted any photos of her in the gown, Taylor Swift style authority Sarah Chappell ID’d the Cinderella-worthy creation as Montstand’s printed jungle dress on her popular Instagram account @TaylorSwiftStyled. “Taylor recently attended the wedding of one of her cousins wearing a dress from a new-to-her brand: Montsand,” Chappell wrote. She also called out several details from the midi-length gown, which featured delicate spaghetti straps, floral lace appliques throughout, a silk band in a cream color along the neckline, and an idyllic scene of a fox hanging out in a very Grimms fairy tale-like setting along the hem.
“The dress features a whimsical, woodland scene (omg folklore [Taylor’s Version]?!” she commented, calling out one of Swift’s albums. Despite Swift’s billionaire status, Chappell also revealed that the princess-core gown cost $305, which several fans commented seemed like a typical price for a wedding guest dress.
Swift has had a busy wedding slate this fall, as she also made an appearance at the wedding of model Karen Elson and Lee Foster, the owner of Electric Lady Studios, in early September. The “I Know Places” singer, who brought boyfriend Travis Kelce to the star-studded nuptials, wore a cream Zimmerman gown decorated with a romantic floral design and large cutouts on the side.
