Call me nosey, but I believe the items a person carries in their bag when they leave the house are more than just a jumble of receipts and forgotten breath mints (well, those, too). I think it’s an extension of who they are; it’s their favorite fragrance they use every day, the book they’re currently reading, and that Polaroid from the best night of their life. Merit Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil

Besides my phone and wallet, it’s mandatory that I have some sort of lip product on me. While I keep at least six in my bag at a time, I’m reaching for Merit’s Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil in shades Les Deux and Jeté. It adds a flush of color while moisturizing my lips for hours.

Ashy hands are my kryptonite, so I always ensure my purse is stocked with my favorite Byredo Bal d’Afrique Hand Cream. It’s thick and creamy but doesn’t leave an oily residue on my hands. Plus, the scent is refreshing without being overpowering—a must-have for frequent hand washers like myself.
