Created by perfumer Roja Dove, “Aoud Extraordinaire” opens with a fruity cocktail of pineapple, apple, pear, peach, mango and plum, refined with sparkling, citrusy notes of bergamot, grapefruit and mandarin. The heart develops a floral-sweet, powdery bouquet of red rose, rose geranium, jasmine, cyclamen, heliotrope, lily of the valley and orange blossom, rounded off by a warm base of oud, amber and musk nuances as well as creamy, gourmand toffee, cotton candy and vanilla notes. Soft, luxurious cashmere and leather accords, combined with dry wood and vetiver, lend the composition additional depth and stability.

The fragrance completes the “Aoud” collection, which pays homage to the traditional perfume art of the Middle East and reinterprets the precious agarwood in a modern way. Other fragrances in the collection include “Aoud” (2011), “Amber Aoud” (2012) and “Sweetie Aoud” (2015).
