Mastering the airport ‘fit has been a journey of trials and errors. Lots of shoes, bags, and loungewear staples were tested before I settled on the picks that now make up what I consider the perfect airport outfit. But of all my tried-and-trues, there’s one staple I tell everyone they need before hitting the airport, and Katie Holmes just wore it while out in New York City.

Holmes was spotted in a cozy-cool ensemble, opting for a classic wrap coat, straight jeans, and flat loafers—a.k.a. my hack for making airport travel infinitely easier.
