Jennifer Lawrence is going through some big life changes. Over the weekend, the actress confirmed she is pregnant with her second child. There’s nothing quite like a beauty transformation to mark a big milestone, which is exactly what she underwent. The Hunger Games star debuted new locks, which coincidently make for the perfect fall hair refresh.
The Oscar winner stepped out on Saturday in a crisp white T-shirt, a bright red cardigan wrapped around her shoulders, billowing black pants, a huge black statement necklace, and black knit flats. While Lawrence looked effortlessly cool as always, her new 'do stole the show. She cut her luscious golden locks to a layered shoulder length with full bangs.
The fresh chop offers a contrast to her usual look, which has typically been slightly wavy blonde locks with a middle part. In fact, Lawrence hasn't rocked a full fringe since 2014, though she has oscillated between curtain bangs and side-swept bangs over the years.
The next day, the No Hard Feelings star revealed her second pregnancy via Vogue.
"Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Lawrence! The Oscar-winning actor will be welcoming her second child with art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney," the magazine wrote, adding that Lawrence's reps confirmed the news to the outlet.
Lawrence and Maroney exchanged vows in October 2019. The couple welcomed their first child, a son named Cy, in February 2022.
Earlier this week, a source told People that Lawrence is ecstatic about her pregnancy.
"She loves being a mom. She's thrilled to be pregnant again. It feels like the perfect timing to her. Her son will 3 when the new baby arrives," the insider said. "She's very happy with Cooke. They are great together. He's super chill and it rubs off on her."
