The cast of And Just Like That… is back at work filming on the streets of the Big Apple, which means fans are getting a sneak peek at exactly what Sarah Jessica Parker’s Carrie Bradshaw will be wearing when the new season arrives (it can’t come soon enough). On October 22, Bradshaw was seen wearing a pink tutu skirt, matching heels, and a shimmering cardigan—but the showstopping finishing touch was a sculptural hat perched on her signature curly blonde hair.
The hat included a long, trailing ribbon in a matching pink hue and Parker (er, Bradshaw) finished the look with a long plaid coat, a brown textured kiss-lock handbag, and a hardcover copy of Alexei Navalny's memoir, Patriot. Even with the images from the set (basically all of New York City), fans haven't gotten any clues about where Carrie and Co. will be for And Just Like That…'s upcoming third season. However, thanks to these snapshots, we do know there's a pie involved someway, somehow.
“It’s a big season,” Parker shared with Extra. “I think we’re shooting about seven months straight with no break. We don’t know the air date, for real. We thought we did, but we don’t.”
Fans of the Sex and the City universe will know that this isn’t Carrie’s first brush with avante-garde headwear. Her most memorable hat may be the bird she affixed to her head during the Sex and the City movie, which played a major part in the film’s wedding scene and subsequent Mexican getaway. Other notable hats include Carrie’s Parisian beret, a shimmering snood she wore during a snowstorm, and a larger-than-life gingham creation.
