When it comes to the world of celebrity style, just about anything goes. To the average person, their fashion choices can often be seen as unconventional (dresses over pants, wool coats with bare legs), but much to their credit, they almost always make it work.
Case in point? Emily Ratajkowski dressed in boots and boxers. On Friday, the model was spotted waiting for a car to pick her up outside her apartment in New York City while wearing a pair of brown leather moto boots from Miu Miu with buckle detailing up to the knee and tiny white boxer shorts. While the combination is confusing all on its own, it’s especially head-scratching considering the current sweltering heat. But with the bulk of the boot offsetting the easy, breeziness of her shorts, it actually kind of, sort of, makes sense.
Completing her summer look, EmRata wore a white T-shirt, layered gold necklaces, and black shield-style sunglasses that partially covered her makeup-free face. A pair of hoop earrings were hidden beneath Ratajkowski's bedhead, while a suitcase and duffel bag in tow rounded out her accessories.
Just a week earlier, the My Body author was spotted walking her dog in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood wearing yet another pair of micro shorts—this time, however, she teamed her blue space-dye hot pants with a more sensible shoe. Opting for low-top white sneakers, which matched her cropped tank top, Ratajkowski finished off her outfit by throwing on a light blue striped button-down that was longer than the length of her shorts.
