The composition opens with sparkling, spicy notes of Italian bergamot and juniper, accompanied by the stimulating aroma of cappuccino. The heart note then opens with a warm, fruity-floral interplay of heliotrope, plum and the balsamic-fresh presence of Provençal lavender. The fragrance is carried by a warm base of Australian sandalwood, sweet-spicy tonka bean and the woody-balsamic nuance of oud firbest.

“MCM Diamond” was created by perfumer Frank Voelkl in collaboration with Firmenich. The elegant, black and gold bottle is inspired by the fashion house’s “Stark Rucksack” and is intended to embody the luxurious style of MCM.

Michael Cromer, born in 1939, was a multi-talented man with an extraordinary career. Before entering the world of fashion, he studied economics and earned his living as a model and actor. In the 1970s, he discovered the vibrant Munich party scene for himself and opened his own hairdressing salon in 1972. With its stylish cosmetic bags for women, the salon soon became a trendy meeting place for Munich celebrities.

in 1975, Michael Cromer expanded his range to include luxury bags and suitcases, which laid the foundation for the official founding of MCM (Modern Creation Munich) two years later. The 1980s brought further innovations: in 1984, the label launched the first women’s fragrance “Rouge”, followed by the first men’s fragrance “Success” in 1986. Today, MCM is represented in over 35 countries and is considered one of the leading luxury brands for a young, fashion-conscious clientele.

The new fragrance is available in bottle sizes 30, 50 and 75 ml.
