French label Stéphane Humbert Lucas unveils “Sea my Love”, an aquatic, leathery unisex fragrance inspired by the depths and mysteries of the ocean.

The fragrance journey of “Sea my Love” opens with a fruity, tangy combination of mandarin and a pinch of salt. Fresh, floral and animalic notes of jasmine, leather and maritime accents then develop, rounded off by a warm, woody-balsamic base of musk, patchouli, amber and benzoin, which lends the fragrance a deep warmth.

The creation expands the “La Collection Serpent”, which also includes unisex fragrances such as “Pink Boa” and “God of Fire” (2022). The line draws its inspiration from stories and legends from various cultures in which the snake plays a symbolic role. The fragrances incorporate elements of carnival, theater and poetry, which are combined with a sense of the mystical and sublime.
Inspired by a legend about the sea serpent, perfumer Stéphane Humbert Lucas wanted to capture the unfathomable depths and secrets of the seas olfactorily with “Sea my Love”.
In the depths of the seabed, where the sunlight is lost, their scales shimmer with an ethereal glow, reflecting the millennia-old secrets that even the waves dare not whisper. As the sun sets and bathes the horizon in a spectacle of navy blue and golden reflections, the sea seems to hold its breath.
