The Sex and the City cast will always have the best fashion both on and off the screen. Just take a look at Kristin Davis’s pretty floral dress, Sarah Jessica Parker’s statement-making pants, and Cynthia Nixon’s laid-back getup for proof. But we can’t forget about Kim Cattrall, who just pulled a major Samantha Jones style move.
Reminiscent of her character as a publicist office baddie, Catterall wore a sleek pink suit, halter-neck blouse, large earrings, and a quilted top-handle bag. Though, her silver shoes took the look home, making me think of her polished SATC ensembles, which frequently included metallic footwear, glitzy mini dresses, and shimmering jackets.

A closer look at the summer sandals revealed two thick straps, a crosshatched design, square toe, and simple gold hardware. They instantly elevated the entire look, offering an eye-catching element that sparkled in the light.
But don’t get it twisted; while such shoes are certainly striking, they’re considered a neutral in this day and age, being that they pair well with nearly everything. Anne Hathaway serves as proof, having worn the blinding footwear with wide-leg denim and effortless coats since the start of the trend. Martha Stewart, Amal Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Katie Holmes, and Jane Fonda have also made the style their own by rocking the Hollywood-loved look with leggings, jumpers, mini dresses, and tank tops. TL;DR, there’s truly no wrong way to style these babies.
Thanks to Cattrall (and the rest of Hollywood’s metallic footwear fan club), I couldn’t resist snagging my own statement-making summer shoes.
