French fragrance brand Jeroboam unveils “Your Oudhness” – a highly concentrated unisex fragrance inspired by the smoky, resinous aroma of Indonesia’s Gaharu Buaya.

Your Oudhness – Jeroboam
The olfactory journey of “Your Oudhness” begins with the freshness of bergamot, embedded in the warm, spicy tones of elemi resin and saffron. At the heart of the composition, a powerful interplay of leather accents, Vietnamese oud and the earthy-smoky nuances of Indonesian mangrove wood unfolds, surrounded by spicy-sweet styrax. Finally, the base lends depth and stability to the composition: patchouli, white musk and vanilla combine with cedarwood, oakmoss and sandalwood to create a creamy-sweet, woody finish.
Gaharu Buaya – The inspiration behind the fragrance
“Gaharu Buaya” is a special type of oud extracted from the wood of the Aetoxylon Sympetalum tree. This tree species is mainly found in the mangrove forests of Borneo, Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. “Buaya”, which means “crocodile” in Indonesian, refers to the traditional harvesting of the wood on the mangrove coasts, where it grows in its natural environment. Gaharu Buaya is particularly prized for its rich, smoky aroma, which gives the fragrance of “Your Oudhness” its character.
The perfume was created by perfumer Vanina Muracciole exclusively for the London department store Harrods.
Jeroboam
François Hénin founded Jeroboam in collaboration with the perfumer Vanina Muracciole. What began as an artistic experiment quickly turned into a first fragrance collection that focused on musk – a fragrance that is still at the heart of Jeroboam’s creations today. The name “Jeroboam” is inspired by a large wine bottle and symbolizes the size and intensity of the house’s Extraits de Parfum. For Hénin, perfume in its purest form embodies not only an intense fragrance experience, but also a powerful expression of personality and strength.
The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 100 ml.
