An Airy and Intense Reinterpretation: “Dior Homme Parfum (2024)”

by белый

Dior launches “Dior Homme Parfum (2024)”, a reinterpretation of its iconic men’s fragrance that focuses on an airy yet powerful iris note.

The Dior Homme men’s fragrance tells the story of an encounter: the soft, sensual accords of iris meet powerful ambery and woody notes. A fragrance creation that gives the flower a masculine twist, with an overdose of iris that creates an addictive, sensual and elegant composition.

The master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, Creative Director of Dior and creator of the 2014 original, is once again behind the reinterpretation. While “Dior Homme Parfum (2014)” is known for its floral, powdery elegance and the smoky depth of leather, “Dior Homme Parfum (2024)” focuses on a more airy but denser structure, underpinned by warm, woody notes.

The composition combines the delicate, powdery accents of iris and its earthy sister, orris root, with the warm tones of amberwood and sweet coumarin. Patchouli rounds off the composition with its spicy warmth and earthy character, while vetiver adds depth with its woody, slightly smoky facets.

The bottle features a gradient of warm amber in the lower part of the glass that gradually fades into deep black – a visual representation of the balance between intensity and softness that the creation is intended to embody.

The new fragrance is available in a bottle size of 50 and 75 ml.
