Add it to the list of her beauty reinventions.

Red lips, platinum hair, and bold brows are just a few of Madonna’s beauty signatures that she’s rarely seen without. But this week, the singer surprised everyone by ditching her material girl glam for no makeup whatsoever.

On Thursday, Madonna posted a clip of her getting her hair done, set to the tune of her 2005 track "Like It or Not," and in the footage, she appeared to go completely makeup-free. Despite using a filter that gave the appearance of false eyelashes, the Grammy-winner left the rest of her face bare while styling her long blonde hair straight with a part down the middle.

Madonna's unexpected low-key look might be a signal of another reinvention for the pop star, as she recently revealed that she's been working on new music in the studio with her producer Stuart Price. In a video montage shared to social media, Madonna dressed down in a flannel shirt and dark denim with her signature blonde hair in braided pigtails. She had on minimal makeup and accessorized with just a pair of glasses.
