In “Mandarine Fauve” the tangy freshness of Madagascan mandarin blends with the spicy pungency of ginger, rounded off by the fresh, resinous notes of balsam fir.

For the creation, perfumer Maurice Roucel was inspired by Fauvist art – an early 20th century movement known for its intense, vibrant colors that convey strong emotions and impressions.
The perfume complements the “La Collection Rare”, which also includes fragrances such as “Gold Leather” (2013), “Gaïac Eternel” (2021) and “Éclat de Tubéreuse” (2023).

Founded in 2009 by Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel, Atelier Cologne specializes in reinterpreting the traditional Eau de Cologne. The result: “Colognes Absolues” – a fragrance category that combines the freshness of Eau de Cologne with the intensity and longevity of a perfume.
