Developed by perfumer Margherita Carini in collaboration with Symrise, the composition combines the floral-citrusy freshness of Egyptian neroli and black tea with the sweet-fruity notes of davana and exotic ylang-ylang, enveloped in spicy saffron.

Rose-Réglisse – A sweet, sensual combination of rose and licorice
Imagine the proud and noble ROSE DE GRASSE enveloped in the attractive and original scents of LIQUORICE essence. With a hint of aniseed (Badiane essence) and nuances of violet-lychee, its trail, scented with magnolia essence, becomes irresistible.

In “Rose-Réglisse”, the floral essences of Grasse rose and magnolia merge with fruity, exotic notes of lychee. Star anise and liquorice provide sweet spice and warmth, rounded off by the soft, powdery note of violet.
The creation was developed by perfumer Nathalie Lorson in collaboration with the company Firmenich.

The “Notes de Cœur” collection
“Safran-Néroli” and “Rose-Réglisse” are the first two fragrances in the new “Notes de Cœur” (translated: “heart notes”) collection. At the heart of the range are notes that have been specially developed to intensify the sensuality and seductive power of the wearer.
According to Affinessence, the effect of the fragrances is scientifically proven, as certificates from fragrance manufacturers Firmenich and Symrise are said to confirm. In addition, the French niche label has carried out independent consumer blind tests to substantiate the evidence.
Accordingly, “Safran-Néroli” contains 29% ingredients that are classified as “attractive” according to Symrise’s Actimood® Neuroscience Protocol. “Rose-Réglisse”, on the other hand, was formulated with the fragrance design technology accord EmotiBoost® Brazil Sensual Booster by DSM-Firmenich, which is intended to evoke sensual feelings.
We know that scents are the most direct links to our emotions. Our olfactory receptors are connected to the limbic system, the most primitive part of the brain where emotions arise and memories are formed. In addition, the sense of smell, the olfactory system, is one of the fastest ways to influence our cognitive and emotional state. Our idea for the HEART NOTES COLLECTION was to create this additional power of attraction and seduction. We succeeded in creating magnetic perfumes based on this promise, and we proved it!
