Forget the LBD and get into a black tux.
Pamela Anderson traded in her bombshell style for more low-key looks lately and her appearance at the Toronto International Film Festival is proving that there’s no look that she can’t pull off. Arriving for the premiere of Gia Coppola’s new movie, The Last Showgirl, the superstar wore an all-black suit and kept her usual M.O. of no-makeup makeup.
The Canadian icon paired skinny black pants with a statement-making tailored jacket with exaggerated lapels and super-long exaggerated sleeves. She added a black button-up underneath and finished the look with a pair of pointed-toe pumps. She wore her signature blonde hair pulled back and kept her makeup low-key, without any heavy liner and just soft washes of color around her eyes. She accessorized with diamond stud earrings and a diamond tennis necklace.
According to an official festival synopsis, Anderson plays a Las Vegas showgirl who is at risk of losing her job after 30 years. Her co-stars include Billie Lourd, Jamie Lee Curtis, Dave Bautista, Brenda Song, and Kiernan Shipka.
Speaking to Better Homes & Gardens, Anderson explained how she came to embrace a less-is-more approach to her beauty, which started in 2023 when she sat front row at Paris Fashion Week with a clean face.
"That was the beginning of me letting go of the image I had always had of myself," she said. "What is this cartoon character that I’d created? Okay, that was fun. But I’m not that person anymore."
"As soon as I took the mask off, the whole world opened up," she finished. "It just happened to be this silly thing of being at Paris Fashion Week and me saying, 'I’m not going to sit in a makeup chair for three hours. I’m going to the Louvre.' Then I thought, Who am I competing with? I was appreciating it as this girl who lives on Vancouver Island that got plopped into these glamorous clothes. And I felt like this little freckle-faced kid with a big, beautiful Vivienne Westwood hat on."
