Paris is bringing out the biggest names and tiniest crop tops.
Not all the action at the Paris 2024 Olympics is at the arenas and stadiums. In addition to the big names at the Opening Ceremony and LVMH’s big pre-Olympics bash, the City of Light is playing host to major red carpet events and, in turn, equally major Hollywood names. One in particular, Nicole Kidman, brought a very special guest to Omega’s Her Time event: her 13-year-old daughter, Sunday.
For the big night, Kidman opted for an all-white two-piece outfit that brought together a tailored, cropped white top and a coordinating breezy A-line skirt. She finished it all off with an Omega watch (she’s been an ambassador since 2005) and pointy white slingbacks. As for Sunday, whom Kidman shares with her husband, Keith Urban, she wore a gray vest and matching trousers.
Kidman has four kids: Bella and son Connor, whom she shares with her ex, Tom Cruise; and daughters Sunday and Faith, who are both 13.
Speaking with the L.A. Times, Kidman shared that Sunday recently watched parts of her film Eyes Wide Shut—and admitted that she may still be too young to be taking all that in.
"At the AFI [Life Achievement Award] tribute, they saw the scene where I get stoned," Kidman said. "They showed that and I was like, 'Ooooh. Golly. OK.' I sat next to my daughter, Sunday, watching that. She said, 'Mom, that was good.'"
At the event, Kidman explained that she loves the support system that she has from her kids, saying that she feels the love.
"They are here to support me, and they're very, very supportive and incredibly loving," she said.
As for the Olympics, Kidman was there to toast one of the longest-running team-ups of the modern games. The storied Swiss watch brand (it has been around for 92 years) is the official timekeeping partner of this year’s Olympic Games, marking 31 Olympics, Winter Olympics, and Paralympic Games of recording records and split-second finishes. Omega’s relationship with the Olympiad goes back to the Los Angeles Games in 1932 (which happens to be where the 2028 Olympic Games are taking place). According to the brand, “Omega is timing all of the 329 Olympic events across 32 sports” in Paris.
