Bringing the battlefield to the red carpet.
Hear ye, hear ye: Natalie Portman won the Deauville 2024 Talent Award at the 50th annual Deauville American Film Festival in France on Saturday—and she accepted the honor dressed in a gown that put a sexy spin on medieval style.
For the occasion, Portman looked like princess from the Middle Ages while wearing a metallic chainmail dress that resembled knights' armor. The maxi-length gown featured a square neckline, dramatically puffed sleeves, and a crystal-encrusted bodice that was partially see-through. That sheerness extended all the way down to the dress's hemline, exposing Portman's high-waisted pair of black briefs and her heels underneath.
She accessorized with a black leather belt with rhinestone detailing cinched around her waist and a choker necklace embedded with black and white pearls. Portman's light brown hair was worn down, straight, and pulled away from her face, and she finished off her glam with a glossy pink lip, rosy cheeks, and a flick of black liner to her eyes.
In addition to the Talent Award, Portman was also gifted a dedicated beach locker room on the Promenade des Planches earlier that same day. At the event, she wore a navy skirt suit by Dior that consisted of the brand's iconic 30 Montaigne Bar Jacket and a flared miniskirt. She paired the suit with Dior's J'Adior slingback pumps in navy, as well as a French manicure.
