It’s been less than 24 hours, and the 2024 Paris Olympics are already off to a legendary start. At last night’s Opening Ceremony, Lady Gaga dazzled the crowd with a cabaret-inspired performance, and Celine Dion made her triumphant return to the stage since announcing her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis nearly two years ago. Oh, and let’s not forget Beyoncé’s surprise introduction of Team USA while wearing a bedazzled American flag cowboy hat.
Even miles away from the French capital, celebrities everywhere were showing off their sporty spirit—including Kendall Jenner, who repped Team USA with an itsy-bitsy red, white, and blue bikini. In a mirror selfie posted to her Instagram Story, the supermodel wore a white two-piece bathing suit with navy blue trim from her older sister Kim Kardashian’s intimates brand SKIMS. The string-tie bottoms read “Team USA” on the butt, while the matching triangle top included the United States flag and Olympic rings embroidered on the cups.
Jenner accessorized her patriotic look with a red baseball cap and a cherry-colored manicure. She had on minimal makeup and styled her long brunette hair down and straight.
The Summer Games marks SKIMS third official partnership with Team USA. Kardashian first began with an off-duty womenswear collections at the Tokyo Summer Olympics in 2021 and at Beijing's Winter Olympics the following year. This new capsule collection, however, will also include menswear.
Last month, Kardashian dropped the campaign for her latest partnership with Team USA, starring both Olympic and Paralympic athletes. World champion sprinter and two-time Olympic medalist Gabby Thomas modeled a blue version of Kendall's bikini, as well as a red one-piece and an American flag-printed sports bra with coordinating PJ bottoms. Meanwhile, gymnast Sunisa Lee wore a white leotard with blue paneling and a red bra and underwear set.
