The British perfume house Ormonde Jayne launches “Nawaf Zaffran” – a sensual, oriental unisex fragrance that is available in a limited edition.
The fragrance journey of “Nawaf Zaffran” begins with a fruity, spicy fusion of sweet pear and the intense spiciness of saffron. The warm opening is followed by a resinous-floral heart: the balsamic depth of benzoin interweaves with the earthy-woody nuances of cypriol, while iris adds a powdery-floral note. Finally, the journey culminates in a warm accord of amber, vanilla and patchouli, rounded off with velvety, animalic accents of leather and musk.
Behind the development of “Nawaf Zaffran” is Linda Jayne Pilkington, the founder of Ormonde Jayne.

Ormonde Jayne is the result of Linda Pilkington’s passion for fragrances. It all started with a hobby – experimenting with scented candles and essential oils. But when a friend at Chanel discovered Pilkington’s talent and commissioned her to create scented candles, the idea of founding her own brand matured. In 2000, the time had come – Ormonde Jayne was born. Shortly afterwards, Pilkington acquired an alcohol license and dedicated herself to the art of perfume creation;
For her fragrances, she works with perfumer Geza Schön, who transforms her creative visions into compositions. Each perfume is handmade in London and contains natural, sustainably sourced ingredients.
Today, the label stands for high quality, British perfume artistry and the use of rare and precious raw materials. Craftsmanship and exclusivity are just as much trademarks as the limited availability: in addition to the flagship store in London’s Bond Street, Ormonde Jayne is only available at selected, exclusive locations worldwide.
The new fragrance is available exclusively at Selfridges in a bottle size of 50 ml.
