She's not called the queen of Cannes for nothing.
Eva Longoria, the unofficial queen of Cannes, is back and ready to retrieve her crown.
For the third year in a row, the actress has left us speechless with a revolving door of dazzling red carpet dresses—from her hip-high slit dress at the 2022 amfAR Gala to this year’s super plunging beaded gown. But at last night’s Emilia Perez premiere, she topped them all with a look that sealed her best-dressed status once and for all.
Arriving at the Palais des Festivals, Longoria hit the red carpet in a jaw-dropping teal gown by Tony Ward Couture that featured bedazzled detailing, multiple cutouts, and a super-high leg slit. On top, the dress's sweetheart neckline was highlighted by a pair of crystal-encrusted straps and beaded branches jutting out past her shoulder. Below the bust, an upside-down V-shaped cutout exposed Longoria's midriff, while the gown's skirt included a thigh-high slit that was accented with sparkly fringe.
The actress-turned-director let the gown speak for itself and accessorized minimally, adding only a pair of sky-high silver platform heels and dangling diamond earrings. She pulled her dark brunette hair back into a ponytail with wavy pieces in front, before finishing off her glam with silver eyeshadow and nude lip gloss.
Eva Longoria Basically Wore a Butter Yellow Disco Ball to Cannes
Keeping with the festival’s glitzy dress code, Longoria also wore a butter yellow halter dress that was basically one glittering mirrorball hours before her red carpet arrival. Her sunny yellow midi was almost completely covered in large mirrored sequins and white beading and featured a sheer overlay at the neck that gave the illusion that the bodice was being held up by just a trio of tiny straps.
