Great minds dress alike.

If you’re thinking Eva Longoria’s latest outfit looks familiar, it’s because another A-list actress has already worn it. On Wednesday, Longoria attended the 2024 ELLE Gourmet Awards in Madrid, and for the occasion, she stepped out onto the red carpet in a slinky black Coperni gown that you’ve definitely seen before.

Longoria’s floor-length dress—which was first worn by Nicole Kidman at the 2023 CMA Awards in November—featured a plunging neckline with a massive midriff cut-out that was punctuated by a triangular-shaped metal embellishment smack dab in the middle of her abdomen. She mirrored the gown’s geometric hardware with a pair of silver chain-link earrings and finished off her accessories with a smattering of diamond rings and delicate gold bracelets.

Unlike Kidman who wore her hair sleek and straight, Eva pulled her brunette tresses back into a high ponytail with tumbling waves and added a glossy pink lip, feathered lashes, and shimmery eyeshadow to the rest of her glam.

At the ceremony, Longoria was honored as the Ambassador of Mexican Gastronomy given her vast knowledge of the cuisine. After wrapping filming for her cooking and travel show Searching for Mexico, the Desperate Housewives alum was so inspired that she decided to write a second cookbook.

“I just kept writing down everything that I was learning and experiencing,” Longoria previously told People about her writing process for My Mexican Kitchen, realizing that there was “a beautiful cookbook here that could celebrate everybody I’ve met, all of their recipes, all of their creations, and to really applaud the cuisine of this country.”
