As its title suggests, hemp seed oil is the key ingredient in the Hempz lotion. Rich in omega fatty acids, hemp oil, derived from its namesake plant, is a THC-free extract hailed for its anti-inflammatory and humectant (moisture-attracting) qualities, which soothe and soften skin.

I’ve tried the Hempz lotion a few times throughout my eight years of testing beauty products, and despite my aversion to the slickness inherent to many formulas, find Hempz tolerable, texturally.
