Over the weekend, the My Body author was spotted walking her dog Colombo in New York City's West Village neighborhood while wearing a style staple that once belonged in every '90s dad 's closet: jean shorts, or jorts as they're often referred to. EmRata's version came in a light wash with a raw hem and a baggy silhouette, and were worn low on her hips.
She paired her divisive denim with a cropped black tank top that showed off her matching black bra straps underneath, while shield sunglasses and oversized gold hoops made her outfit look less like your dad, more like a supermodel—as did a pair of quirky ballet flats.
Opting for comfy footwear that wasn't sneakers, Ratajkowski slipped on black flats that looked like dance shoes with crisscrossing velcro straps. She pulled her dark brunette hair back with a claw clip, and finished off her glam with a nude lip and a bronzy glow.

This isn't the first time EmRata has pulled out a pair of jean shorts for one of her frequent NYC strolls. Just a few weeks ago, the model was photographed grabbing an iced coffee while dressed in denim Bermuda-length bottoms with a fuzzy green vest worn over a sheer black short-sleeved shirt. She rounded out her look with hiking shoes, layered gold necklaces, and yellow-rimmed sunglasses.
