As an avid horror connoisseur, I’m most excited about the upcoming film Babygirl, which the star was recently promoting at the 2024 Venice Film Festival. She looked as ethereal as ever with flushed cheeks and a voluminous blowout. The latter was courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Adir Abergel, creative director at Virtue.
The stylist, who’s also behind Jennifer Garner’s strands, told InStyle he used three Virtue products to create Kidman’s look—the Healing Oil (a Garner favorite), the Damage Reverse Serum, and the Flourish Thickening Styling Treatment. The last is the pièce de résistance for “touchable sexy hair,” per the stylist.

It’s a leave-in product that can be used on air- or blow-dried hair (it purportedly protects hair from up to 450-degree heat). Regardless of what method you pick, the benefits are the same—more hydrated, fuller individual strands leading to an overall increase in volume and thickness.
“I wanted her hair to have movement while defying gravity and humidity,” Abergel says on why he chose to use this on Kidman. “So many volume products focus only on the roots to create volume and they are quite sticky… Nicole loves touching her hair on the carpet, so touchable volume is very important.”
The Flourish Thickening Styling Treatment is a new product, so the reviews are still coming in, but they’re overwhelmingly positive thus far. A shopper in their late 60s said “it gives [their hair] more texture and volume than anything I have tried before.” Another person in their late 50s said their hair “feels and looks thicker and healthier” after just four uses.
If Kidman’s hair and the preliminary shopper reviews are of any indication, Virtue has another hit on its hands with the Flourish Thickening Styling Treatment.
