In what may be the brightest, boldest celebrity mommy-and-me moment, ever, Camila Alves and her 14-year-old daughter, Vida, wore coordinating all-red looks for a quick walk in New York City. Yesterday, the mother-daughter duo was seen in two-piece sets in similar shades of red—and even finished their respective looks with strappy black shoes.
Camila wore a red crop top and matching skirt with a laser-cut detail all over the tiny top and skirt, which included a casual, cool paper-bag waist and dainty belt. She added a black clutch and a simple gold choker and wore her wavy hair parted in the middle. And Vida matched in a zip-up cardigan-style top with long sleeves and a cropped hem. She added a matching skirt with button details on the waistband and a pair of black Mary Janes. The finishing touches on her 'fit were a pair of gold hoops and bouncy curls.

Camila and Vida were in the Big Apple for the Hermès fashion show. Camila gave her Instagram followers an inside look at the event, writing, “Very special attending @hermes show with my daughter in NYC…thank you for welcoming us with such care and love! The show was amazing!”

The outing was a rare sighting for Vida, who doesn't often get photographed—except at a recent event for the Mack, Jack & McConaughey Gala in April, which included her siblings Levi, 15, and Livingston, 11.
McConaughey opened up about his relationship with Camila and how he wants to set an example for his children. He emphasized how showing affection and connections with his spouse (the two wed in 2012) are lessons for their kids.
“One of the best lessons we can give our kids, as a father, is show them how I love their mother,” he told to E! News. “When you’re cooking in the kitchen, how you treat each other, how you disagree, how you show affection—applause, ‘giddy-ups,’ ‘attaboys,’ ‘love ya, babes.’ Those are really great lessons that our kiddos, whether they let you know they see them there or not—you didn’t give them advice, but they saw it and they will clock it.”
