I am pretty against this Hollywood trend of resurrecting franchises or creating sequels to movies from decades ago. Like, let’s try something new instead! There are very few exceptions, however—actually, the only one I can think of is this year’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice. Partially because of Tim Burton’s return as director and Michael Keaton’s reprisal of one of his most iconic roles, but mostly because of Winona Ryder.
