“I’ve loved each and every transformation with Kendall!” says Jenna Perry, celebrity hair colorist and founder of Jenna Perry Hair who has been working with Jenner since 2022 on some of her most dramatic dyes. “She’s really great to work with. We communicate really well together and it makes for a heavenly collaboration. With each transformation, she has proven that hair color truly can be the best accessory.” Below, we’ve rounded up some of Kendall Jenner’s best hair moments.
Marilyn Moment
Earlier this year, Kendall departed from her classic brown and embraced the blonde life. Her bob is styled in bold old Hollywood curls for the Academy Gala in October.
Ice Princess
Colorist Jenna Perry was the mastermind behind Jenner’s dramatic transformation. “It took three days to ensure it was the healthy looking blonde shade that she loved,” recalls Perry.
Trust the Process
Wondering how Perry pulled it off? “Doing a big transformation like this is nerve wrecking on anyone, but working with Kendall on this transformation was such a pleasure,” she explains. “She trusted the process and it made the project go smooth. We took our time to ensure the health of her hair. We did touch-ups every 4 weeks.” The result? Kendall’s cool-toned blonde hair paired with her red outfit and lip here is a masterclass in color theory.

Pretty Penny
Red-hues were the undisputed It-Girl hair colors of 2022. Ever the trend-setters, Perry and Jenner worked together on achieving this shade for Prada’s Fall/Winter 2022 runway in Milan.
Ginger Spice
“Kendall needed to be red for the Prada show. I believe that it was a request from Guido!” says Perry of the show-stopping debut and colleague Guido Palau, who styled this architectural moment for the show. “This process was a bit easier than the blonde transformation because we got the job done with her hair being wet. I use this technique on my redhead transformations because it lifts to a perfect brassy orange which is a secret sauce to a rich auburn red, like the color Kendall had. In my salon, we call this technique a Dirty Double.”
Baywatch Bun
Kendall’s 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party hair is reminiscent of the Pam Anderson bun style, which recently made waves on Tik Tok. It’s easier than it looks, too. Section your hair, gather into a high messy bun and secure with pins. Pull your front pieces back and loosely clip the front sections, leaving a few strands out to frame the face. Voilà, red carpet ready!
Sleeping Beauty
Kendall arrived at this year’s Met Gala with tailbone-length whimsical waves juxtaposed against a structured twist that gives the illusion of a crown on her head. A fairy-tale hairstyle for the Garden of Time carpet.

Stylist Jen Atkin pulled Jenner’s top layer into two symmetrical ponies for a 2019 NBA game. Parted down the middle and secured with invisible hair ties, this flirty look adds a bit of shape and volume, and is totally DIY-able.
