With “Jardins de Saba”, “Mirage Suave” and “Rose Extatique”, the French label Reine de Saba offers fragrance trips to the Arabian Peninsula, inspired by the mythical Queen of Saba.
Jardins de Saba – Between harsh desert and lush gardens
I wanted to recreate the beauty of the Queen of Sheba, between desert and lush gardens, in a fragrance where a lush and poetic green shines through with velvety notes. Fanny Bal, Junior Perfumer at IFF
The first feminine composition “Jardins de Saba” (translated: “Gardens of Saba”) is intended to capture the splendor of the ancient Arabian kingdom by combining the contrasting worlds of the harsh desert and the blooming gardens.
Jardins de Saba – Reine de Saba
In the top note, delicate aldehydes, sweet mandarin and red fruits provide a fruity opening, followed by an opulent, floral heart of Egyptian jasmine sambac absolute and rose, enveloped by the fresh, powdery presence of lily of the valley. A velvety, warm base of earthy moss accents, spicy patchouli and warm sandalwood rounds off the fragrance experience. The creation was created by perfumer Fanny Bal.
Mirage Suave – A combination of the finest fragrances
This creation is my way of celebrating the beauty and generosity of this legendary queen: a mineral, powdery iris wrapped in a veil of precious myrrh.

Mirage Suave – Reine de Saba
Developed by Nelly Hachem-Ruiz, the fragrance begins with the spicy freshness of star anise, which offers a slightly sweet and intoxicating note, enhanced by the spicy sophistication of cardamom. At the heart of the composition, the sensual aroma of damask rose absolute is revealed, combined with powdery nuances of violet and iris concrete. The base note is characterized by an overdose of aromatic myrrh resin, supported by a warm, woody vetiver note.
Rose Extatique – A fragrance journey through the desert of Yemen
The fascination of the Queen of Sheba and her intense connection to the sun inspired Julie Massé and me to create this perfume. Our shining star, this source of sparkling energy, plays with light and darkness and symbolizes the countless elegant and radiant facets of the queen.

Rose Extatique – Reine de Saba
The composition of “Rose Extatique” (translated: “Extatic Rose”) opens with fruity-sweet, fresh notes of lychee, bergamot, mandarin and date, enlivened by the slightly tart nuances of green and black tea. A floral, sensual blend of orange blossom, Turkish rose and May rose develops over time, refined with the aromatic freshness of rose geranium and a hint of cardamom. A powerful accord of velvety sweetness and warmth from ambrette, labdanum, patchouli, resins and vetiver ensures the depth and persistence of the fragrance.
The new fragrances are available in bottle sizes of 100 ml.
