Zara’s prices are usually within my budget, but its markdowns are really good, with so many under-$50 steals during its winter sale. I’m personally eyeing this 100-percent silk slip dress (yes, you read that right), but there’s also an $11 knit tank, $16 blouse, 60-percent off the comfiest drawstring pants, and the coolest $27 A-line dress.

Nordstrom has markdowns on pretty much everything ahead of the long weekend, from baggy Levi’s jeans and Oprah-favorite Spanx sweats to Ugg’s platform clogs. But there was one deal that really surprised me: Solawave’s Wrinkle Retreat Light Therapy Face Mask. Not only did almost everyone I talk to want one for Christmas (if you didn’t get one, now’s your chance), but a beauty editor’s 57-year-old mother reported that this exact mask plumped and firmed her skin, making her look five years younger.

Anthropologie just marked all of its sale items down by an extra 50 percent—this is a run, don’t walk kind of moment. The best deal is on this chic-and-cozy sweater dress, but there are plenty of other great winter discounts, including this sweater tee and these wide-leg velvet pants, both of which are under $50. My personal favorites, however, include this ruffle mini dress—it will transition into spring with ease—and this $25 smocked-sleeve top.
