Travis Kelce might have missed the Grammys, but Taylor Swift brought major Chiefs energy to the awards show red carpet, thanks to a bright scarlet Vivienne Westwood mini dress and a custom Lorraine Schwartz ruby chain with a “T” charm worn around her upper thigh. However, after spending the biggest night in music bonding with Wicked’s Cynthia Erivo, catching up with Sabrina Carpenter, and dancing in Janelle Monáe’s jacket, Swift shifted into her Midnights era with a secret outfit change. As she headed out to the Grammys after-party, the “Cruel Summer” singer swapped out her red dress for a sparkling “bejeweled” mini decorated with tiny bows.
While photographers didn’t catch Swift’s under-the-radar Grammys outfit change, Janelle Monáe’s guitarist Kellindo Parker documented the glittering transformation in an Instagram carousel post of his “magical Grammys experience.” In the cover photo, a selfie of Swift and Parker showed the “Blank Space” star beaming at the camera while wearing a crystal-encrusted silver Gucci shift dress with the designer’s logo embroidered all over–a nod to Swift’s recent love of loud luxury looks.
The flirty sleeveless mini dress featured spaghetti straps that were embellished with tiny coquette-coded glitter bows on each side. Swift, who blew a kiss at the camera in a second photo, kept her signature red lipstick and black cat eye from the award show but pulled her blonde hair back for the Grammys after-party. Keeping her full rounded bangs intact, Swift wore her hair in a sleek bone to show off a pair of diamond drop earrings and her dress’s whimsical neckline.
While the Grammy Award-winning singer didn’t share any photos of the Grammys look herself, Swifties are in for a sartorial treat in the coming days with an expected appearance from the star at Kelce’s Super Bowl game on Sunday, February 9. It’s likely that Swift will be in his VIP suite (with her full squad in tow) as the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles for the season’s final game.
