The star went all out for Day of the Dead.
One thing about Eva Longoria is she’s going to make an entrance. Be it an awards show red carpet, a film festival, or the streets of New York City—the world is Longoria’s runway. Another thing about the multi-hyphenate: she loves a sheer moment and a plunging neckline. For her latest appearance, she showed out in both to absolutely captivate Carlos Eric Lopez’s Day of the Dead gala.
On November 1, also known as Día de Muertos or Day of the Dead, Longoria joined a star-studded group of Latino celebrities for Lopez's fourth annual gala at Los Angeles's Paramount Studios. The lavish event was attended by the likes of Wilmer Valderrama, Miguel, Isabela Merced, and Annie Gonzalez, among many others, all there to celebrate the tradition of honoring family members who have passed. It was an extra special night for Longoria, who was honored with the Premio Vida y Legado (Life and Legacy Award), and she made sure to dress the part.
The Flamin' Hot director stunned in a sweeping black gown that featured sheer paneling and lace panels throughout, a deep V-neckline, and thick straps, which she wore over matching high-waisted underwear. For an even bolder touch, Longoria wore a large, striking headpiece that featured bright red and white roses and gilded sticks that resembled rays of sunshine. Gold bangles, large silver hoops, and a couple rings completed the ensemble.
The Desperate Housewives star's beauty picks were just as alluring. She wore shiny black and silver gems along her forehead and cheekbones, along with fluttery eyelashes, a smoky eye, and a matte red lip. She styled her chestnut-colored locks in soft waves.
