And, although Christmas is *checks notes* 75 days away, it’s never too early to start planning your festive outfits. In fact, much like Santa Claus himself, Selena Gomez had a big gift for everyone today: the ultimate holiday party dress inspiration.
The Only Murders in the Building star waltzed across the red carpet at the 68th BFI London Film Festival to promote her upcoming movie Emilia Pérez. For the event, Gomez wore the grandiose ball gown in a cheery crimson-red hue, which featured a scoop neckline, wide straps, a fitted bodice, voluminous skirt with a second overlay, and a huge twisted bow along her waist for a coquette touch. She added the most regal accent with a diamond-encrusted silver necklace, matching cuff earrings, and red pointed-toe stilettos that were bright enough to stop traffic. If this ensemble doesn't scream holiday fête host to you, I don't know what does, because as for me, it immediately went on my holiday dinner Pinterest board.
Even the "Calm Down" singer's glam exuded celebration-ready. She opted for bronzy makeup, complete with a brown smoky eye, fluttery eyelashes, subtle cat eyeliner, rosy cheeks, and a glossy pink lip. For hair, she styled her dark brown locks in a fancy ponytail with face-framing tendrils hanging out.
Gomez's fanciful frock serves as a stark contrast to her outfit from yesterday, though she looked just as chic then. She, once again, stepped out for the film festival, although this time in a slinky LBD with a gilded keyhole cutout on the chest. The piece, which she paired simply with glossy black heels and a couple gold statement rings, featured a high scoop neckline and subtle pleating along the bodice. A black smoky eye, nude lip, and natural hair completed the look.
