The bikini queen strikes again.
As the undisputed queen of the bikini, Salma Hayek has worn just about every swimsuit style under the sun—from plunge one-pieces to stringy separates and so on. And this week, everyone’s favorite swimwear influencer returned with another poolside photoshoot, whipping out a brand-new suit for the internet to feast their eyes on.
On Wednesday, Hayek shared a slideshow of snapshots of herself floating around in the water on Instagram, which she captioned: "Waiting for August." In the photos, the actress wore a strappy green-and-pink patterned two-piece that featured a balconette bra top with criss-crossing straps across the stomach and a pair of matching side-tie bottoms. Hayek seemingly went makeup-free for her outdoor tanning session and let her wet brunette waves air-dry in sun.
The next day, Hayek posted a video showing off her diving skills in the same bikini, aptly writing in the caption, "Diving into August."
Hayek’s latest swimsuit shots came less than a week after she carried the Olympic torch at the Opening Ceremony in Paris. For the occasion, the Frida star, who is married to French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, wore a white Torch Relay track suit with orange stripes on the sleeves and white sneakers.
Documenting her journey of helping carry the torch from Rambouillet to Versailles, Hayek wrote on Instagram: “Yesterday, I had the honor of carrying the Olympic flame, a symbol of light, hope, peace, and unity ♾️. If you believe in these values, know that you were with me every step of the way. As I passed the torch and took part in the relay, I was proud to represent the enduring spirit of the Olympics, bringing light, hope, and unity to all. #Olympics #Paris2024.”
