Going for the (fashion) gold.
Kendall Jenner is going for the (fashion) gold.
This week, the supermodel joined a long list of celebrity supporters at the Summer Games—including, Sarah Jessica Parker, Ariana Grande, and Nicole Kidman, just to name a few—and showed off her competitive side when it came to her Olympic style.
First, Jenner cheered on Team USA at the women’s all-around gymnastics final on Thursday while wearing a red, white, and blue Ralph Lauren zip-up jacket with a matching hat, straight-leg jeans, and black loafers from The Row. Later that same day, she continued her sporty style streak by pairing a baseball cap with a plaid blazer dress, and after that, the 818 Tequila founder went into full model mode and changed into a strapless nude tube dress for dinner.
On Friday, Jenner closed out her final fashion round in a medal-worthy outfit that consisted of a black cropped T-shirt and a lustrous gold maxi skirt that was symbolic of her sartorial win. She accessorized with black cat-eye sunglasses, a hunter green clutch, and a simple yet sleek pair of black flip-flops. Her glossy brunette hair was worn down with a middle part and she had on minimal makeup.
Jenner's appearance at the Olympics is somewhat significant—not only because her dad Caitlin Jenner is a gold medal-winning decathlete, but also because she once said that if she wasn't a model, she would likely be an Olympian herself.
During The Kardashians reunion in 2021, Jenner told host Andy Cohen, “Honestly, I think I’d probably be in the Olympics or going to the Olympics for horseback riding," she said, adding: "That was always my dream.”
