Hudson put it best herself: "Absolutely dreamy!"
Kate Hudson is giving the ultimate laid-back vacay inspo in her latest Instagram carousel. In a series of images taken during her recent getaway in Greece, the actress showcased an array of boho beach-side ‘fits.
In one image, Hudson donned a bright tomato-red triangle bikini with a halter neck and a simple band holding it in place at the back. In true boho style, she paired the bikini with an array of bangles and string bracelets on her arm and a pair of drop earrings—yes, even in the ocean.
Elsewhere in the carousel, Hudson showed off a teal blue bikini along with another itty bitty purple string bikini, which she wore in a sauna—we’ve already seen this one in another post from the same holiday. Another absolutely excellent outfit came in the form of a white T-shirt with the characters of the 1995 cult classic film Clueless along with Cher’s famous catchphrase “Whatever!”, which Hudson paired with a long, flowy white tiered maxiskirt, Adidas sneakers, and a wide blue headband. We also have to give an honorable mention to the blue string-and-shell anklet that makes a cameo in a number of Hudson’s shots.
In another slide, Hudson showcased her more elevated evening vacation style, wearing floaty wide-legged black trousers, a black blazer, and white heeled sandals.
"Absolutely dreamy! For those who follow me you know by now how much I love 🇬🇷🧿 Greece!" wrote Hudson in her caption, adding, "Got to see the Parthenon 🏛️ which was a bucket list for me and Rani and I had our first mother daughter spa moment which I will share a little of in another post! Thank you One and Only for a beautiful experience 💙"
Hudson has been relaxing in Greece alongside some of her self-described “patchwork family”—her fiancé, musician Danny Fujikawa, their daughter Rani, and Hudson’s son, Bingham, from her relationship with Matt Bellamy, were all on the trip. Hudson also has a 20-year-old son, Ryder, whom she shares with her ex-husband Chris Robinson.
Hudson’s European trip comes after a very busy year for the actress and singer. She released her debut studio album, Glorious, on May 17 of this year. “There was someone who said to me—and it kind of jarred me a little—it was when I was in my early 30s, and they basically said, ‘It’s done, it’s passed. You can’t, you’re too old,’” she said of the album during an appearance on CBS Sunday Morning back in April. “And you know, for me, it wasn’t just about being a performer, it was about wanting to write music.”
Hudson is also coming off the back of starring in The Glass Onion, the second Knives Out installment. Incidentally, the film was shot in Greece during the pandemic. “We really only had each other and Greece was all Aperol Spritzes and swimming,” Hudson previously on the Chris Evans Breakfast Show of the experience. It’s no wonder she decided to bring her family back for more!
