French fragrance label Obvious is launching three new luxurious unisex fragrances inspired by the places of longing of gypsetters.
As a prelude to the “High Standards” collection, the Eaux de Parfum take us into the world of gypsetters – people who combine the free, adventurous lifestyle of nomads with the luxury and style of jetsetters. All three fragrances were created by master perfumer Julien Rasquinet.
A collection inspired by the last places of refuge where we can still try to be ourselves.

Frida’s Thorns – A fusion of passion and exoticism
“Frida’s Thorns” is a tribute to Mexico and the legendary artist Frida Kahlo. With a blend of rose and cocoa, the fragrance is intended to reflect her passionate and creative legacy.

In this creation, fruity-fresh accords of pear and raspberry merge with a sweet, warm heart of Mexican cocoa, chocolate and sensual rose. The fragrance is carried by notes of patchouli and vanilla, which lend the composition an earthy and creamy depth.
Himalayan Spell – The mysticism of the Himalayas
The second creation, “Himalayan Spell”, is an ode to the sublime atmosphere of the Himalayas and the mystical, remote regions of the Hindu Kush.
The scent of subtle raspberry notes, quickly followed by a powerful, sensual animalic note, takes you to the top of a mystical mountain and undeniably brings you closer to the beauty of the gods.

The composition opens with the fruity freshness of raspberries, accompanied by spicy saffron and black pepper. A warm, woody heart of jasmine, nagarmotha and cedarwood then develops, leading into a powerful, animalic base note of leather, suede and oud assafi™.
Malfa Walls – A sensual fragrance journey to the island of Salina
The Aeolian island of Salina, surrounded by spray and wind, inspired the creation of “Malfa Walls”. The name is a tribute to the municipality of Malfa, made famous by the masterpieces of Lampedusa and Visconti.
Sicilian citrus fruits lead the way into the heart of the nave of San Lorenzo, where the scent of the wood paneling competes with the cold of the thick walls dating back to 1703. Incense rises to the heavens, carrying with it the prayers and hopes of an entire people.

Malfa Walls – Obvious
It opens with an invigorating blend of blackcurrant liqueur, Sicilian mandarin and orange, refined with spicy thyme. The heart reveals balsamic notes of sage and incense, rounded off by a velvety, warm base of leather, oud and the aromatic, spicy note of juniper.
The new fragrances are available in bottle sizes of 100 ml.
