A lesson in keeping warm and looking stylish.
Dressing for winter isn’t always the easiest task. With all those layers and oversized pieces, it’s hard to keep warm while still looking stylish, but leave it to Dua Lipa to find the perfect sartorial solution.
On Saturday, the pop star posted one of her signature photo dumps on Instagram after wrapping up her first of two shows of the Radical Optimism Tour in Japan at Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena. And in the snapshots, she demonstrated how to dress stylishly cozy. Wearing her go-to black leather hot pants, Lipa shielded her legs from the elements with a pair of matching tights and slouchy black knee-high boots with a skinny stiletto heel.
Meanwhile, on top, she wore a sunny yellow cardigan in a fuzzy fabric. Accessory-wise, the "Training Season" singer gave her outfit an extra dopamine boost with a bright red leather purse and a stack of colorful friendship bracelets on her wrist. A smattering of gold and diamond rings, as well as a pair of diamond-encrusted hoop earrings finished off her outfit.
When it came time for glam, Lipa wore her dark brunette hair down, straight, and tucked behind her ears and she added dramatic winged eyeliner and a mauve-colored lip to her beauty look.
No matter the season, hot pants (particularly in black leather) have become an essential in Lipa’s wardrobe as of late. Back in October, the Grammy-winner wore a similar pair of cheeky micro shorts while exploring Texas, and an even tinier iteration as she performed on-stage at the Austin City Limits Music Festival.
