Dakota Johnson is a certified fashion icon for a reason. Whether it's her pitch-perfect, skillfully simple everyday 'fits or her sensuous sheer eveningwear looks, Johnson rarely fails to put together an outfit that just seems to work.
Her latest look is a masterclass in styling. Attending Gucci Women's Spring Summer 2025 Fashion Show during Milan Fashion Week, Johnson opted for an ultra sheer white midi dress designed by designed by Gucci's own creative director Sabato De Sarno. The floaty, transparent dress leant into the recent resurgence of the boho chic aesthetic with its floral appliqué pieces and its delicate bow at the lightly frilled neckline.
Johnson made the bold move of pairing the dainty dress with a fierce, oversized black leather jacket, which she wore tossed over her shoulders like a cape—the perfect styling trick for those in between weather days of early fall. She carried Gucci's mini Jackie bag and finished off the look with a pair of black slingback heels. She wore her hair down, in gentle waves.
Recently, Johnson’s penchant for the naked dress knows no bounds. Earlier this month, Johnson wore another sheer Gucci look with a sparkly bodice while attending Kering’s 3rd Annual Caring For Women Dinner. Then, just a week before that, there was this slinky Gucci slipdress with a lace bodice. And, of course, who could forget the actress’s web-inspired mesh dress on the red carpet for Madame Web.
