The style is quickly becoming her new signature.
There isn’t a bra top Charlize Theron has met and didn’t like. From lacy to itty-bitty to designer, the actress has worn them all—and over the weekend, she debuted yet another lingerie style to celebrate the 2024 Block Party for her nonprofit, the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, along with her famous friends.
Walking the red carpet at the event in Universal City, Calif. on Saturday, Theron wore an oversized black blazer that was left undone, offering a glimpse at her bare midriff, as well as a tiny black bralette underneath. The peekaboo moment was emphasized by her sparkly black midi skirt with a sheer panel at the hemline and a pair of Dior slingback shoes. Theron slicked her blonde hair back into a bun while leaving a loose section on one side, before finishing off her glam with pink lipstick, rose-colored blush, and a dusty blue manicure that complemented her sapphire ring.
Theron is no stranger to the exposed bra trend. Just last month, she attended the Critics Choice Association’s inaugural celebration of LGBTQ Cinema & Television in Los Angeles while dressed in a long tailored blazer by Givenchy with a black leather miniskirt peeking out from the bottom and a lacy bra on top. And the year prior, she paired a triangular bra top with matching short shorts and a sheer, floor-length duster at the Fast X premiere in Rome.
As for the charity, which was founded in 2007, Theron has been throwing a benefit annually for the past four years. CTAOP helps with AIDS education, prevention and support for those affected by the disease primarily in South Africa, where the star was born and raised.
