All this French-girl 'fit is missing is a baguette.
Like much of the United States, Natalie Portman cheered on the Women’s gymnastics team at the 2024 Olympics on Tuesday. Unlike us common folk, however, the actress got to witness Team USA’s performance in person in Paris. And she did so with a French-girl ensemble in an on-theme Dijon mustard-colored suit.
Portman was spotted in the star-studded stands at the Women's Gymnastics Team Final in a yellow suit set with a structured blazer and the tiniest matching miniskirt. She layered the jacket over a white ribbed tee and styled the preppy ensemble with unexpected shoe: a black-and-white platform sneaker. Portman kept the rest of her accessories simple and finished off the 'fit with tousled waves and a red manicure.
During the broadcast, Portman could be seen cheering on Team USA, which includes Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Hezly Rivera, and the G.O.A.T., Simone Biles. The event was a coveted ticket during this year’s games, but Portman was among a myriad of other celebs also in attendance during Tuesday’s competition, including Nicole Kidman, Keith Urban, former Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps, Serena Williams, Jason Kelce, and more. Biles received a standing ovation after her floor routine and led the United States to a gold medal.
In addition to being a fan of Biles and Team USA, Portman can count herself as an enthusiast of French girl fashion, from her Louvre-worthy Golden Globes gown to her longtime partnership with Dior. Most recently, the star wore another coordinating suit that included a bustier top and tiny shorts during a visit to the SiriusXM Studios.
