Blake Lively is giving cocktail dressing the Brat treatment. Amidst the fall resurgence of summer’s go-to lime green hue, thanks to Charli XCX and Troye Sivan’s Sweat Tour, the It End With Us actress put a slightly demure twist on the trend. As she stepped out for multiple events in New York City on Friday, Lively modeled a bright chartreuse lace dress with daring, side boob cutouts paired with witchy footwear.
The Gossip Girl alum, who began the day with an appearance at the NY Food and Wine Festival, brightened up the fall day with a dopamine-fueling look. On October 19, she wore a midi-length green lace dress with a few inches of sheer fabric at the hem. Lively styled the cocktail dress for a street style outing, covering it with an olive green V-neck cardigan that extended down to her thighs. With the sleeves rolled up and a few buttons undone, the cozy autumn staple transformed her dress into a daytime look.
As always, Lively went maximalist with her accessories and footwear, adding a pair of forest green Victorian-inspired suede stiletto boots from Christian Louboutin. Each of the boots was buttoned up with a row of countless tiny pearls, adding a luxe finish to the look. Lively stacked her wrists and fingers with large gold bangles and gem cocktail rings, and showed off a pair of statement tortoiseshell and gold art deco-inspired earrings. A metallic quilted black and gold Chanel side bag added some additional shine to her outfit.
The entrepreneur, who wore her hair in side-parted golden ringlets, transitioned her look for nighttime as she headed out later to host the Betty BOOze Harvest Happy Hour event. She took off her daytime cardigan, exposing her dress’s skin-baring cutouts on the sides that extended all the way down to her waist. Carrying her side bag as a clutch, Lively looked ready for a night out on the town, freshening up her bronzed makeup from earlier with a swipe of peach lipstick, shimmery eyeshadow, and sculpted cheeks.
