The young French fragrance label Aphorismes by Dominique Ropion is making its debut on the perfume market with a collection of six unisex fragrances.

The top note of “Oud à L’Amour” reveals the spicy intensity of pink pepper, whose CO2 extraction preserves the lemony and floral facets of the berry. This is joined by a hint of fresh pineapple, which lends a fruity note to the opening. The heart of the creation is characterized by notes of rose and geranium, which combine with the leathery and smoky nuances of cypriol. In the base, a warm musk note provides a gentle and soft finish, while the resinous and balsamic notes of benzoin, incense, oakmoss, cistus, gray ambergris and patchouli lend the creation additional intensity and depth.
